To date, Mainstream Recycling has diverted over 37,000 tonnes of waste from landfill, contributing to a circular economy by reintroducing processed organic materials back into the market.
Mainstream Recycling operates recycling facilities throughout New South Wales and Victoria. It is an innovative process and significant capital investment.
Mainstream Recycling accepts wastes (such as content recovered from stormwater assets and street sweeper waste, that would typically end up as landfill) and separates the rich organic materials for recycling.
The facility reintroduces processed organic materials back into the market. These materials can be utilised for farming, gardening and as landscaping product. Mainstream Recycling holds an innovation patent for its process.
